Includes 1 bucket seat, removable stern storage compartment, 2 directional strakes, carrying handles, multiple d-rings and ties, motor mount fittings (to attach a Sevylor® SBM 12V trolling motor), and a nylon carrying bag The Rio is not the best whitewater kayak, nor is it the best touring kayak , but for the price, it’s the perfect multi-purpose boat. I use mine to paddle rivers, lakes and the ocean. It has enough agility to manuver around rocks and through rapids, and if you paddle evenly, it will track reasonably well on flat water. The thick cover protecting the tubes is so much better than the Tahiti-type boats, that I never wory about springing a leak. The seat is very comfortable and elevated a few inches off of the bottom of the boat to help keep your backside dry. It’s not a true self-bailer, but there is a plug in the rear that can be removed to allow water to drain if you’re in big waves or whitewater. Overall, I’m very pleased with my little Sevylor Rio. For a kayak, it is extremely stable, even when fishing; it’s easy and comfortable to paddle, and it is very well-built.

My 11 y/o daughter and I easily carried it through the woods and over some fallen trees and brush to get to our pond. Within a few minutes with kayak paddles I was able to keep it going straight and fast. Each removable seat has a detachable over sized mesh fanny pack to hold stuff. It can easily be taken off and attached to your waist. That part is not even advertised. The seats can be cinched up very tight for forward support. The canoe has plenty of spots to secure gear with rope or “D” rings. Kayak paddles seem to work real good with the wider side wall compared to a rigid canoe. I would not try to challenge the 500 Lbs weight limit although I am sure it could handle it. It’s a great recreational but versatile little craft and I very much recommend it.

This canoe is very stable , which is what my wife and I wanted. Its beam width is what makes it so. Had a bit of a difficult time finding a canoe dolly to transport to and from the water but eventually we got one that works fine. We are ‘age challenged’ and like things to be easy and stable. This boat fits the bill. This canoe came up for sale at a good price with free shipping so I bought it. It has proven to be very stable (I can stand in it) and works well. The built in ice chest is small but will hold a few drinks or the like, and the cupholders are a nice feature. The bottom of the boat isn’t perfectly straight, dipping down slightly where the seats are, but for my use I can’t see where this makes any difference, it’s very minor. I figure some master canoer guy probably would’t feel the same but then again I don’t think he would be looking at this canoe anyway.

The 2 seats can be removed to accomodate 3 people easily. The canoe is very well-built, with 3 separate inserted air chambers (1 in each side wall, and 1 for the bottom). The 2 seats are also inflated, which can be used as life savers. The front and rear of the canoe also has inflated pockets to keep the shapes. This canoe is very stable and easy to row, as it does track very well in water (won’t spin like those flat inflatables). It won’t go as fast as those hard-shell kayak due to its size, though.

Took this out several times on a quiet lake in southwest Arkansas and was very pleased with it. Very stable. Sets up and deflates quickly. Tracks very nice, although as you would suspect, not as well as a standard hard shell canoe. You can paddle it pretty fast for an inflatable. The materials look and feel solid. The only negatives I have are that the seats are a little uncomfortable, but this may be fixed by adjusting the inflation; and the narrow front and back edges of the canoe would have been made more resistant to abrasion if some kind of tougher material was put over them to keep wear and tear off the outer shell.
